We are preparing for a new IEC season. To get ahead, we’ll be opening our Recognized Organization (RO) Waiting List in advance of the official International Experience Canada (IEC) 2027 season. Joining the Waiting List gives applicants valuable time to prepare for the process before the new season launches. Please note, spots this season are very limited, and unfortunately we won’t be able to contact or assist every applicant interested in the RO IEC 2027 season.
You can join our RO Waiting List for the IEC 2027 Season starting Wednesday Sept. 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (PDT, Vancouver Time, BC. Canada).
IMPORTANT IEC 2027 Season:
For IEC 2027, all interested applicants will be placed on our waiting list. At Stepwest, spots are not assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, we carefully review each application and only reach out to qualified applicants we believe we can support through our RO program and who matches our requirements. Please note:
Joining our RO IEC Waiting List is free of charge. An invitation to a consultation meeting with our team does not create any obligation for you to register, nor does it obligate Stepwest to accept you into the program. Acceptance will only be granted if we determine that we can support you. Payment will only be required after you have completed a video call with our team and have been formally accepted into the program for the upcoming IEC season. A confirmation email of acceptance will be sent to you at that time.

Do not apply before the waiting list opens, as your application will not be considered. Make sure to select your program of preference:
Please submit your application with your most up-to-date resume. Your resume should include your current location, work experience, email, contact number and education. Please list the countries where you completed each period of study or work since your 18th birthday. Our team will use your resume to review your background, and if there is an error in your application form, we can still find your correct details from your resume. Please note: if you submit an outdated resume with insufficient information, you might not be contacted.
⚠️ Do NOT submit multiple applications, as doing so will move your application down the list.
If you apply for a different program from our selection list, you will not be placed on the RO IEC Waiting List. In this case, you must reapply under the correct program. Please do not email us to request changes, as we are unable to make them.
➡️ If you are in Canada, do not select your nationality as “Canada”, if you do so, our system will disregard your application automatically, so you will not be considered. Nationality is your country of Citizenship, not where you are located today.
After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email (please allow a few minutes for the email to arrive). This confirms that your application has been successfully added to the Waiting List; no further action is required at that stage. Please be patient, as the selection process may take several months. We will accept participants gradually, both before and after the IEC 2027 season officially opens, and selected applicants may be contacted at any point during this period.
Please note that we receive way more applications than spots available, so we cannot guarantee we will be able to help every applicant who submits an application.
Once you are on our waiting list, we might contact you by email and/or phone to arrange a free meeting, review the RO program details, and determine if we can work together. Please note that our team may contact you at any time during the IEC season, as circumstances may change. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact timeline.
Please check your spam folder, especially if you are using a Hotmail, Outlook, or iCloud email account. If you are currently in Canada, be sure to provide a valid contact phone number, as we may need to call you if your email bounces back.

Submitting an application only adds you to the IEC 2027 Waiting List. It does NOT guarantee a spot or mean that you have been accepted into the RO IEC 2027 program.
We want to meet you! This free meeting with our team will provide you with all the information you need to decide whether our RO program is right for you. It will also allow us to confirm your eligibility and determine whether your profile meets the requirements of the allocated spots we can support. In some cases, we may not be able to offer you a place in the program.
Once contacted, you will have 72 hours from the time the email is sent to confirm your meeting date and time with us. If we do not receive your booking confirmation within this timeframe, your application will be removed from the RO IEC Waiting List, and no further booking emails will be sent.
If you are removed from the Waiting List, you may reapply; however, you will need to restart the process, and your original place on the list cannot be restored.
If you are in Canada, you must maintain valid legal status throughout the entire RO process in order to participate in our RO IEC program. Stepwest is not an immigration law firm or immigration consultancy and does not provide immigration advice. Where required, participants must work directly with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).
If you are accepted following your meeting, you will receive an official confirmation email from Stepwest with instructions to register and complete your program payment. Stepwest will never request payment before you have been officially accepted into the program and received registration instructions directly from our team.
Once your registration and payment are complete, you will begin working with our team to prepare for the opening of the IEC 2027 season.
⚠️ Important: Registered participants cannot receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) before the new IEC season officially opens. Even after the season opens, there may be an additional waiting period before ITAs can be issued. The timing will depend entirely on International Experience Canada (IEC). Stepwest has no control over the season opening date or ITA processing timelines.
In the meantime, we are committed to keeping close communication with our participants and providing guidance so they can prepare their documents in advance.

Please note that we are unable to respond to emails or phone calls regarding our RO IEC programs due to the high volume of inquiries we receive. However, we have done our best to answer the most common questions! We invite you to review it, and we will continue to keep it updated as we get closer to the new IEC season.
Remember: we will only consider applications submitted following the steps outlined above for the new RO IEC Season. Any applications submitted before the official opening date of our waiting list will not be considered. If you requested information in the past or previously received a reply from our team, this does not place you on our waiting list. You must submit a brand-new and complete application once the new waiting list opens.
As mentioned, our quota will be very limited, and unfortunately, we will not be able to assist every applicant. ⚠️ After joining the Waiting List, there is no guaranteed timeframe for hearing from us, as selected applicants may be contacted gradually over several months.
Once our quota has been filled, we will update our website to confirm that the IEC 2027 Waiting List is closed. If there are any changes during the IEC season that affect applicants, we will contact them directly. Due to the high volume of applications and emails we receive, we are unable to respond to individual inquiries about Waiting List status or application updates.
