Working Holiday City Job

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are looking for our Recognized Organization Working Holiday/Young Professional work permits, then this program is NOT applicable. Please refer to this blog post for more information. Our Working Holiday City Job is designed for first-time applicants that come to Canada under regular IEC participation.

Program Overview

Our Working Holiday Canada City Job Program allows you to kick-start your experience in Vancouver. We provide tons of support throughout the entire process of moving to Canada. Our Working Holiday Canada Jobs Specialists arrange interviews for you to attend in your first week here. We connect you with employers right away so you can start working faster.

Located where the mountains meet the ocean, the city of Vancouver has a lot to offer working holiday travellers. With world-class ski hills, beaches, hiking trails, festivals, shopping, a contemporary food scene, and lively nightlife – there is a world of adventure waiting for you here!

Support Before Your Arrival

Once registered, take advantage of visa application support from our team of working holiday visa specialists. We work closely with International Experience Canada and are happy to answer all of your working holiday visa application questions.

During your Working Holiday Canada jobs consultation, we chat about your goals and the types of jobs you are interested in. Our team will revise your resume so it aligns with Canadian standards and makes you stand out to employers here in Vancouver. Your success in landing a job is our success, so we take this part seriously!

We are in touch with you throughout the months leading up to your departure to answer any questions. Prior to your departure, we conduct an orientation to go over final preparations and steps for your arrival in Canada.

Support After Your Arrival

When you land in Canada, the process through immigration will be a breeze after we prep you for what is needed to receive your open work permit. We provide detailed directions to get into the city. Check into your first night’s stay (included) at a top-rated hostel in the heart of downtown.

Receive a warm Canadian welcome from the team at our downtown Vancouver office. During your orientation, we assist you with opening your bank account, getting your SIN number, and cell phone plan. We explain everything you need to know about living in Vancouver – taking public transit, how to rent or homestay, where to get groceries, top spots to go out, and much more! Your first interview opportunity is happening in the coming days, so our Canada jobs expert will conduct an interview preparation workshop to make sure you are ready.

Our support doesn’t stop there, this is just the beginning of your working holiday adventure in Canada! Our team is here for you to answer your questions throughout your entire stay in Canada. Wondering how you pay Canadian taxes? Need some travel advice? We’ve got your back!
