To participate you must have at least your high school diploma, although 95% of our participants are graduates from University degrees in their countries and an intermediate English language level (TOEFL 510, IELTS 5.0 or equivalent*).

Who Can Do the Hospitality Management Program in Canada?

Anyone interested in developing their knowledge and skills in the hospitality and tourism industry in Canada. Our Co-op program will give you hands-on experience in the North American hospitality industry with a paid hospitality job in Canada.

The students that normally apply to join our Hospitality Management Co-op program have graduated from hospitality, tourism or gastronomy programs in their home countries and want to get a good insight of the industry in Canada while improving their English. We also have candidates that have studied in different fields – like business, marketing and finance – and want to learn more about the hospitality industry. So all in all, you do not have to have a hospitality background to join the program.

Do I Need to Have a Hospitality Background to Participate in This Program?

No, you don’t have to have any previous studies or experience in hospitality or tourism to join the program. You will have classmates that have previous experience, but that does not mean that is a requirement.

What Subjects Will I Be Studying on the Hospitality Management Co-op Program?

Our Hospitality Management Co-op program will help you develop knowledge of the global hospitality and tourism industries. You will learn from experts in the field and broaden your knowledge on the complex needs of clients and how to resolve problems swiftly. You will develop the abilities to communicate clearly and manage a culturally diverse environment. Upon graduation, you will receive a diploma in hospitality management in Canada and be prepared to enter this rapidly expanding and dynamic industry, no matter the country where you want to work!

You will be studying subjects such as leadership, business management, business English, business communication, managing, housekeeping operations, hospitality facilities and design, managing service in food and beverage operations, convention management, marketing in the hospitality industry, and more!

Yes, we guarantee your work experience as it is mandatory for you to graduate. We will help you on every step, from resume, cover letter and interview preparation to gathering all the required documents for the co-op period.

Through the co-op you will get hands-on experience in the hospitality, tourism or gastronomy industry in Canada. This will help you build an international network and gain work references for your future career!

What Does the Schedule Look Like for the Hospitality Management Program?

Your schedule will be assigned to you during your first day of classes in Canada. The Hospitality program has a very concentrated schedule, where you might go to class for a few days all day, and then have free time to work.

Can I Do Any Job in Canada During My Co-op Experience?

Your work experience must be connected to your studies in hospitality. Before you make any payments, we organize a free consultation so that you can learn more about what roles and positions you can do in Canada as part of your program.
