Bell Desk Attendant

As a bell desk attendant, you will be responsible for handling and delivering guest luggage and answering guest queries in an efficient manner while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We’ll guarantee you a job as a bell desk attendant as part of our Working Holiday program. Your role as a bell desk attendant will be to provide exceptional service and work as part of a team to achieve great success and creating a memorable first impression for the guest!

  • Expected Hourly Wage: $10.85 – $12.20/hour
  • Work Schedule: Hours and shifts can vary, and can fluctuate seasonally
  • Level of English Required: High
  • Start Dates: May/June (Summer), October/November (Winter)

Job Duties

  • Offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Receive and deliver luggage/other items to and from hotel rooms – coordinate with the front desk to ensure organization and timeliness of delivery to the guest
  • Store and retrieve guest equipment from ski storage or coordination with the ski valet
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding the area, resort and hotel services and facilities
  • Ensure entrance to hotel is clean and clear of debris/snow
  • Maintain public areas of the hotel including the ski storage area
  • Participate in the operation of hotel guest activities as needed
  • Follow all safety policies
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Other duties as required

Required Experience

  • Previous hospitality experience is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Ability to work in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills, positive team player

Locations

We have partnerships with unbelievable resorts in various beautiful Canadian destinations. On our program, you can work as a bell desk attendant in Whistler, Banff,  Lake Louise, Jasper, Fernie, Vernon and Kananaskis. All of these destinations are located in either British Columbia or Alberta.
