The Hospitality industry has always been the career path that Rejoice & Mark wish to pursue. They have an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management back in the Philippines and have several years of work and internship experiences in the Hospitality Industry.
Last year, they both arrived for the 2016 winter season in Canada! The snow and the cold weather was very far from the tropical islands where they’re from, but their enthusiasm and passion at work was a great drive for them to easily adjust in their new environment and enjoy the company of their amazing team!
The cousins work in different locations of the same hotel, which is all a stone’s throw away from each other within the resort vicinity. It is an excellent opportunity to earn and save money to support their stay as they work full-time hours every week. During their days off, they enjoy hanging out with their colleagues and planning activities to explore Canada together!
“It’s really an awesome experience to work here! We have discounted ski and snowboard passes including lessons for beginners! Skiing might be my next sport! –Mark”
“The activities are endless! From Wildlife spotting to enjoying the resort facilities. I am really living each day of my Canadian experience! – Rejoice”
We can’t deny that these two are making the most out of this awesome opportunity! While harnessing their knowledge and skills in the hospitality field, they also enjoy the benefits and perks while working in the resort. Last winter, during the Christmas party of the employees, our super lucky participant, Rejoice won a prize – A helicopter ride around the Canadian Rocky Mountains!!! What more can we say?!?
